On September 28, 2025, a flight test of our research aircraft AT-01 was conducted to demonstrate its self-launch capability.
For this purpose, the battery pack of the FES system was used in combination with one unit of our wing-mounted battery from the SafeBatt2Fly project.
Flight test location: Genderkingen

With a take-off power of 27 kW, the aircraft became airborne after a ground roll of approximately 344 meters, thereby meeting the requirements of CS 22.51 (a).

During the total flight time of seven minutes, the achievable altitude gain under powered flight of 150 m was also confirmed. The motor operated for approximately one minute at up to 26 kW.
