On July 2 and 3, 2025, the second review meeting of the EU research project ARCHIMEDES took place at the Innovation Park Augsburg. The event provided the 50 consortium partners with an opportunity to present their progress over the past two years and to discuss future steps.
The Augsburg Technology Park – an ideal setting for visionary projects
The welcome address was given by Dr. Hübschle, Head of Economic Affairs for the City of Augsburg, together with Mr. Wolfgang Hehl, Managing Director of Augsburg Innovationspark GmbH. Both proudly emphasized that the Augsburg Technology Park provides the ideal setting for such a visionary project, highlighting the region’s innovative strength and the contributions of local companies, research institutes, and the universities located in the City and District of Augsburg. They took the opportunity to thank the consortium and express their appreciation for choosing Augsburg as the meeting venue.
Special thanks go to AdvanTec GmbH, which played a key role in bringing the meeting to Augsburg and serves a dual role as both a consortium partner and R&D service provider — a compelling example of the strong appeal and potential of the Augsburg location.
